Do your part while having fun on 2 April 2022 and help raise money for research into childhood cancer. This will also give the local volunteer organisations of the Snowy mountains area the chance to raise money for their own communities!
Visit a Dalgety Show while staying at Alpine Activity Centre during the warmer seasons. There are flowers, vegetables, cakes, condiments, knitting, arts and crafts, homebrew, and more to pick up while watching the horse and dog shows.
Country shows, with the sounds and smells, the sideshows, and sections, are a part of Australian history. And so is the town of Dalgety.
Why not come and experience it!
Lake Light Sculpture is an outdoor sculpture exhibition and competition held along the stunning foreshore of Lake Jindabyne.
Alpine Activity Centre gives you the comfort of a short drive to Lake Jindabyne to see the sculptures displayed in an evocative setting with reflections of the Snowy Mountains on the lake, providing a living studio for the artworks.
This means you won’t miss viewing the sculptures lit from sunset to 10 pm each evening. Artists embed lighting, reflection, and optical tricks into their sculptures to play on the light of the full moon.
