Mountain Biking: Explore the Snowy Mountains’ wide variety of guided mountain biking tracks! Mountain biking is suitable for all levels and ages – from beginners to adrenalin seekers, families to individuals. You can bring your own bike, or there are a number of local businesses you can hire from. You can choose to stay around Jindabyne or cycle from Thredbo to Crackenback along the Thredbo Valley Track.
Day Hike: A guided hike is perfect for those who like to explore on foot. There are plenty of hikes to choose from – you can explore the top of Australia with the Mount Kosciuszko Summit Walk, take in scenic mountain views along the Dead Horse Gap Walking Track or venture across the Snowy Mountain River to the breathtaking Blue Lake Lookout. The hikes are suitable for all ages and levels, and are an amazing way to experience the Snowy Mountains National Park.
Kayaking/Canoeing: Paddling on Lake Jindabyne – one of Australia’s highest lakes – is a great way to relax, take in some scenery and explore the bays and islands of the lake. Lake Jindabyne is a vast expanse that you could spend the best part of a day paddling around quite easily.
