Keen bushwalkers will appreciate Kosciuszko National Park’s shady trails and walking tracks, which are best hiked between December and March. There are hundreds of walking tracks and paths open for exploration. Nature lovers can also spot platypus, fairy wrens, flame robins, king parrots and lyrebirds. As the sun sets the area comes to life with kangaroos, possums, bats, red-necked and swamp wallabies. Click here to view a list of walking tracks now open for the warmer season.
